In the morning after the end of the midnight service at the Assumption Cathedral of the monastery, the clergy of the Estonian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate headed by the bishop of Narva and Prichud Lazarus and the vicar of the Tallinn diocese, the bishop of Maardu Sergius for the last time performed a memorial service, where the nun Catherine (Malkov-Panina) was buried. At the end of the funeral service, Bishop Lazar announced the decision of the Holy Synod to assign the nun Catherine to the image of saints for local veneration, the protodeacon Andrei Kilin read the life of the old man. Then the blessed Catherine was celebrated. During the singing of the troparion, kontakion and majesty in the middle of the temple, the image of a newly glorified saint was taken out, to which the worshipers were attached. Then the authorized services were performed. The Bishop of Narva Lazar, together with the bishop of Maardu Sergius, performed the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts. The bishops were co-served by the clergy of the Tallinn and Narva dioceses. At the end of the Liturgy, a moleben was performed, at which prayers were delivered to the holy blessed Catherine. With a congratulatory word, Vladyka Lazar addressed the audience in the church. Also on this day the abbess of the Pyukhtitsky monastery Abbess Filaret (Kalacheva) celebrated its 50th anniversary. Representatives of the clergy congratulated Mother Abbess on the anniversary.
