The Publishing Council of the Russian Orthodox Church will host a seminar "The Spiritual Heritage of St. Theophan the Recluse"

The eighth seminar is devoted to summing up the results of the work of young researchers, discussing and analyzing the development of already existing topics related to the study of the life and work of the saint during the period of the shutter, the formation of new areas of scientific work. During the seminar, the members of the Scientific and Editorial Board on the preparation of the Complete Collection of St. Theophan's creations and other specialists will make presentations and lectures. Then practical classes and consultations with students will be held, reports and other educational work prepared by the students will be heard and analyzed in accordance with the previously approved themes of their academic studies. The structure of the seminar, in addition to the plenary and final meetings, also provides for the holding of thematic sections. All students, including new participants of the seminar, should have a certain amount of basic knowledge, first of all, knowledge of the main works of St. Theophanes, the main works of researchers of the XX-XXI centuries, who studied his life and spiritual heritage.
